Sour Bee’s Knees Gin Cocktail

Looking for a historical cocktail you can re-create at home? This 1920’s prohibition-inspired gin cocktail uses just 3 ingredients and is so easy to make. Get a refreshingly bright taste with a nice sour bite!

We used Uncle Val’s Restorative Gin for its crisp, floral profile and refreshingly bright taste. For a modern spin on this cocktail classic, we swapped Honey Sour Syrup from 3/4oz. Tonic to amplify the brightness. The only other ingredient you need is lemon juice.

Ingredients

60 ml (2 oz.) Uncle Val’s Restorative Gin
15 ml (0.5 oz.) Honey Sour Syrup from 3/4 oz. Tonic
25 ml (0.75 oz.) Fresh lemon juice

Method

Combine gin, honey syrup, and lemon juice in a shaker with ice. Shake for 7-8 seconds. Strain into a small chilled glass over ice. Enjoy!
