Pocket-Sized, Yet Powerful
33 Drams of Scotch is a whisky journal that provides an easy way to quickly record whisky tasting notes in a small, convenient notebook format. It's thinner than an iPhone and easily fits in a back pocket.
It's the perfect gift for single malt aficionados, whisky geeks, malt nerds and other fans of the distiller's art.
33 Drams of Scotch is specifically designed for the tasting of Single Malt Scotch, and is distinct from my other whisk(e)y journal, 33 Glasses of Whiskey. It makes an excellent companion gift to the Single Malts of Scotland tasting map.
Designed for Speed
It’s tough to hold a notepad in one hand, a pencil in the other, and have another hand left for your dram. Taking notes with 33 Drams of Scotch is as simple as checking a few boxes and entering a few basic facts.
The flavor wheel in 33 Drams can be used to quickly recall a whisky's unique flavor long after consumption. For low values of the flavor, fill in dots near the wheel’s center. A 16-year old Islay malt is used in the example shown.
Secret Ingredient
A teeny, tiny amount of real whisky is added to the ink in each new edition, which is cryptically noted on the back.
Eco-Friendly
33 Drams is made with 100% recycled papers sourced in the Pacific Northwest. Interior pages are 100% post-consumer recycled content and covers are 85% post-consumer recycled content and 15% recycled content. The booklets are printed using US-grown soy-based inks in sunny Portland, Oregon. A teeny, tiny amount of whiskey is added to the ink in each edition, noted on the back.
